• Design No: Object 260
• Built: 1948
• Main armament: 130mm gun (model S-70) which was developed from a naval gun.
• Developed in 1948 as the largest and heaviest of the ‘IS’ series of tanks, it was also the largest tank ever constructed in Russia. It never went into production and this is the only surviving example of the seven prototypes produced.
• On display in what is best known as Hall1 of the Kubinka Tank Museum, although its official title is now Pavilion 1 in Area 2 of the Park Patriot museum.
