SUPER GIGANTICKÁ Fotografie + English: This wide-field view of the sky around the bright star Alpha Centauri was created from photographic images forming part of the Digitized Sky Survey 2. The star appears so big just because of the scattering of light by the telescope's optics as well as in the photographic emulsion. Alpha Centauri is the closest star system to the Solar System.

• Česky: Jasná hvězda Alfa Centauri a její okolí. Tento širokoúhlý pohled na oblohu kolem jasné hvězdy Alfa Centauri byl vytvořen na základě fotografií získaných v rámci přehlídky Digitized Sky Survey 2. Hvězda zde vypadá extrémně velká díky rozptylu světla ve fotografické emulzi. Alfa Centauri je Zemi nejbližší hvězdný systém.
• Deitsch: Diese Großfeldansicht der Himmelsregion um den hellen Stern Alpha Centauri wurde aus Aufnahmen des Digtized Sky Survey 2 erstellt. Aufgrund der Lichtstreuung in der Emulsion der verwendeten Fotoplatten erscheint der Stern sehr groß. Alpha Centauri ist von unserem Sonnensystem aus gesehen das nächste Sternsystem.
